Flawed business model even laundromats in major European cities have the infrastructure to give customers that walk in the ability to wash their clothes to pay with card. You’re losing money for the business executives in the hotel just around the corner who utilize offsite facilities between 6-9 after meetings.
I have been using their pick up and drop off service for a couple of years and Jessica and team are just fabulous. It’s wonderful to have a service like this in our town especially for seniors like myself. Just the best.
I went in to wash clothes here never been. A friend of mine recommended this place to me. Online says they close at 9pm on Sundays I went at 2:30. The woman just stares me down as I am walking towards the change machine. She grabs a towel and whip snaps the towel right as I’m walking next to her….why? anyway I read that you need to ask for a card to start machines so I ask Karen (employee) for a laundry card...(fitting name) and she says “We don’t have one and I’m not starting the machine for you because I’m leaving in 15 mins” mind you another person (caucasian) was there washing not even drying her clothes yet so she could’ve. I never felt so uncomfortable going into a laundromat in my life. Shame that I wanted to support a local business but I would never set foot in an establishment that was riddled with racism. If you’re not causcasian please be safe doing laundry here.
We were camping at Croton on the Hudson park and needed to catch up on laundry before we left. The machines are in great condition and clean. It is clean, open and friendly. The attendant was kind and accessible. Easy parking and you can grab some food next door! Recommended
The new owner is absolutely fantastic — friendly, accommodating, and offers reasonable prices, which is such a blessing! And then, on top of that, she rehired the woman who worked before at the former business, who was really the only reliable & professional worker the former owner had! Her name is Karen and she is absolutely wonderful. She treats your clothes like they are her own and does a fantastic job, even folding your clothes exactly as you ask! (Naomi Cecelia)
